On Coupons.com, they have a bunch of coupons for Hasbro kid games: $5 off Elefun, $5 off Guess Who?, $5 off Sorry, $5 off Gator Golf, $5 off Hasbro Twister Hopscotch.

In previous years, Target and Toys 'R Us have both run great deals on kid games prior to Easter. So, these will probably come in handy. Even if you don't need them for your own kids, you can always stock up on birthday gifts :)

You can do it too!

I got the below email from my Mom today. My Mom has attended two of my coupons classes and was very skeptical about being able to figure out how to "CVS". She has tried a few transactions before and always felt like she messed them up. I kept encouraging her and told her to stick to it....it takes time to learn new things....keep trying. I was so proud to get this email from her! I knew if she gave it a few more tries and kept sticking to it she would figure it out. So....here's some inspiration for anyone thinking they aren't quite getting it!

"Whoooopeee! I did it and feel like a winner. Although, I did it on a very small scale!

One Pantene shampoo, one pantene styler (got 3.99 off), one toothbrush, one Irish spring body wash, two wheat thins, one Dry Idea.

I used $10 in coupons, and then $10 ECB’s and my out of pocket was .35!

Got back $12 in ECB’s! Now I understand how you feel, Stephanie! I am going to build up as much free stuff as I can to sell at the flea market. However, I will probably only go shopping once a week….so it may take awhile to get enough stuff."

Walmart

Taken from Deal Seeking Mom.....here are some great free/cheap items you can find at Walmart. Remember, WM can be difficult to coupon shop at...they aren't always the most coupon friendly. Some will only take internet printables if they scan...sometimes you have to ask for a manager to get cashiers to even try to scan them. Be prepared to tell them to take the item off your order if they won't take the coupon.

This is how I got my blog name.....

It's probably mostly obvious where the name came from. I use coupons (paper) like money. But there is a side of this that some might not know, and that is that part that is so exciting.

Today, Drew went to the flea market in Pasadena at 7am. Usually he gets there much earlier but Bean (our youngest) decided not to sleep well last night. As soon as Drew pulled up to the FM there were tons of people anxious to get to our goods. They know what products I buy and sell and many are regulars that look for us.

Within minutes he had sold almost all the cereal that I had him take (about 40 boxes) at $1.50 to $2 each. He barely had time to even set the tables up. Within 2 hours he had made $400!! Once he hit that point, he packed up and came to enjoy breakfast with the family.

So, we really took paper (coupons) and turned it into cold hard cash!! I love it! Where else can you take something you get for free and turn it into money??

High Value Huggies Coupons

There are some great high-value Huggies coupons on www.coupons.com right now. The first is for $5 off any Huggies Gentle Care diapers product and the other is for $3 off any Huggies Natural fit products. You can print them off twice on each computer and sometimes can also print them from www.couponbug.com and/or www.couponsuzy.com

Target - Goldfish & Applesauce

Cheap Goldfish crackers (through tomorrow) and Motts Applesauce (until 3/28) ....and best part is you don't have to buy any special coupons.

Go to www.afullcup.com then to Target Coupon Generator and there is a $1 off one 4 or 6 pack single serve Mott's applesauce. These are $1.67 so $0.67 for a 6 pack of applesauce. This coupon expires 3/28 so plenty of time to stock up on this product.

Unfortunately the Goldfish coupon is the same deal ($1 coupon and the product is $1.67) but the coupon expires tomorrow :~( Run to Target tomorrow for some super cheap snacks for the kids. The whole baked ones (I think that is what they are called?) were also listed at $1.67 in my stores.

Safeway - cereal, cereal and more cereal!

Phew. I am absolutely BEAT with this combo cereal/frozen food deal. I have absolutely no clue how many boxes of cereal I ended up with total (I don't, but should, keep my receipts). Will try to get a count tomorrow or Thursday. But, the third row of my Expedition is down and most of that area is filled with cereal boxes and now DH's Jetta's trunk is full with cereal. Surprised Not to mention the bags and bags we have already brought in.

So JUST TONIGHT's totals:

30 boxes of cereal SurprisedSurprised
4 BirdsEye Steamfresh dinners for 2
1 Toaster Struedels
3 Danimals Crusher yogurts
2 Tai Pei meals
3 tartar sauces
2 cocktail sauces
7 Nutripals
3 New York garlic breadsticks
and a pack of Orbit gum when I thought I was going to go negative! Cool

Grand total CASH out of pocket...........$1.27............

I actually got overcharged on my first transaction for the Nutripals. Two of them rang up at $6.29 each and I didn't catch it when she was scanning, but I knew my total was really high ($9.58 when I was expecting it to go negative). CS adjusted it and gave me the $8.58 back so my total cash on that transaction was $1 but it would have been $0.01 if I hadn't thrown the gum in. Haha

My second transaction I actually pulled away a $2 coupon for the tartar sauce because I could see I was going to go under the $10 to roll my CAH cat. My total for that transaction was $0.27.

I super puffy heart Safeway....but boy am I exhausted!!CoolTongue out

Safeway CAH Promo - Pictures

I did 3 Safeway deals today. I didn't take pics of the first round but tonight I did two more rounds at one Safeway. The 2 stores I have gone to have been wiped out pretty bad so I had to pull together what I could. Here is a pic of what I got tonight.

IMG00291.jpg picture by klingerfamily

2 Ore-Ida potatoes, 14 Toaster Strudels, 6 TexasToast, 1 Raisin Bran, 1 Frosted Mini Wheats, 2 Pepsi 2-liters, 2 Canada Dry 2-liters and 2 Centrums.

And in case you don't notice, this pic is missing 2 things that I royally screwed up! I got the 2 Ore-Ida products with the intention of buying the 2 Gorton's products @ $3.99 each and getting $5 off instantly. Well, this kind-of-crazy guy came up to me and was talking some jibberish and freaking me out....so I totally forgot the fish. Grrr. Oh well. My cashier was sooooo excited and actually went and got me the Pepsi in-ad coupon and said, "You can do a Pepsi AND a Ginger Ale in the same deal". Um, ok.....

Total OOP $10.46 and got my $10 catalina back. For some reason my OOP seems high to me...but I had no overage except on one of the cereals. I am waiting for more Pediasure coupons and none of my stores have the Let's Eat meals to get overage on. Oh well......still not bad I guess.

And last..... if you are doing the Toaster Struedels at Safeway..........the Boston Creme ones (my kids favorites!) are 2/$4 and the rest of the TS's are 2/$5. BUT, my $10 cat printed even though I only hit $24!!!!!! I am not sure how much I would want to test it, but it did work for me.

Running out of space in the freezer.....must find a deal on a deep freezer!

Redbox Movie Codes

From a fellow couponer - here is a great way to get the current free Redbox movie codes:

If you sign up for their "insider updates", they will email you each Monday with a link to the page with the code on it. You can also have it texted directly to your phone every Monday. Go here, enter your mobile number in the box on the right side: http://www.insideredbox.com/

And you can get the latest codes anytime by texting the words “insideredbox codes” to DOTCOM (368266). They will instantly text you back with the codes. NOTE: for some reason this doesn't work for Cricket phones.

Safeway Chill At Home & 3/1-3/8 Promos

There are some great deals at Safeway this week and through the month of March.

First, this weeks deals:
--FREE 2-liter 7-up or Canada Dry ginger ale with card and in-ad coupon.
--Lucerne butter $0.99 with card and in-ad coupon.
--Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats Cereal or Raisin Bran $0.99 with card and in-ad coupon.

For this weeks deals, it is limit 1 per transaction and with a minimum purchase of $10 for the soda. The Lucerne butter is a great price - comparable to Land o Lakes butter - stock up on this now....it can be frozen!!

The Kellogg's cereal is FREE when you use the $0.70 off coupon from the 2/22 RP inserts. Safeway doubles coupons up to $0.99. It is possible that you will get overage on this coupon/sale because it could be based off the original price. I haven't done the deal yet but will post once I see how it rings up.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ these are all the weekly deals that are through 3/8. These are great to combine with the Chill At Home promo that is going through 3/31^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Chill At Home Promo
Buy $25 in select frozen items and receive a $10 coupon towards your next purchase. Below are some of the items that are good to use towards this promo:

___________________________________________________________________

Freschetta frozen pizzas are on sale for $4.49. Here is a scenario using the $0.75 off Freschetta coupons from the 2/8 SS inserts.

(6) Freschetta frozen pizzas $4.49 X 6 = $26.94
- (6) $0.75 coupons doubled = -$9
Subtotal $17.94
-$2.69 (10% off can be applied to your Safeway account by calling CS or message me on other options)
Total $15.25 and receive a $10 catalina towards your next purchase at Safeway.

Now, if you rinse and repeat this, it will be $5.25 for (6) frozen pizzas. Don't forget while you are doing this to get your free soda, cheap butter & cereal.

_____________________________________________________________________

Tai Pei Frozen meals are on sale 2 for $5. These apply towards the CAH promo and there are $0.50/1 coupons available in the 1/25 SS. There were also $1/2 in today's inserts but this would not be as good of a deal because the $0.50 off coupons double but the $1/2 do not. The $0.50 off coupons are still really cheap on Ebay.

Here is a scenario:

(10) Tai Pei meals $2.50 X 10 = $25.
-(10) $0.50 coupons doubled = -$10
Subtotal $15
-10% off on Safeway card - $2.50
Total $12.50
Use $10 cat from previous transaction and total OOP is $2.50 for (10) or $0.25 each.

And you still get the free soda, cheap butter and free cereal.

__________________________________________________________________

Scenario for New York Texas Toast:

(10) New York Texas Toast boxes @ $2.50 each =$25.00
-(10) $0.75 off NY Texas Toast coupons doubled = -$15.00
Subtotal $10
-10% off for Safeway card = -$2.50
Total = $7.50
Will need to add in $2.50 worth of product to use your $10 off coupon and get $10 back

__________________________________________________________________

And to add to these great deals, there is a promo on select Gorton's Fish stick products. Look for the window cling on the door in front of the Gorton's products but when you buy (2) select Gorton's fish stick products along with (2) Ore-Ida products, you will receive $5 off your order instantly. The Ore-Ida products count towards the Chill At Home promo (listed above for the $10 OYNO coupon).

Here is a scenario:
(2) Gorton's fish products $3.99 X 2 = $7.98
(2) Ore-Ida potatos (many varieties) $2.99 X 2 = $5.98
(5) Freschetta pizzas $4.49 X 5 = $22.45
Subtotal = $36.41
- (5) Freschetta $0.75 coupons doubled = -$7.50
- Instant $5 off for Gorton's/Ore-Ida promo = - $5
-10% off for select Safeway cards -$3.64
Subtotal $20.27
Use $10 coupon from previous purchase, spend $10.27 and get $10 coupon back.

____________________________________________________________________

Or another scenario with the Gorton's instant promo:

(2) Gorton's fish products $3.99 X 2 = $7.98
(2) Ore-Ida potatos (many varieties) $2.99 X 2 = $5.98
(8) Tai Pei meals $2.50 X 8 = $20

-(8) Tai Pei $0.50 coupons doubled = -$8
- Instant promo for Gorton's -$5
Subtotal $20.96
-10% on select Safeway cards -$3.40
Total $17.56
Use $10 coupon from previous purchase, total OOP $7.56 and get $10 coupon back.

Great price for all that food!! And don't forget the free soda for all of these transactions!!!

CVS - Essence of Beauty - Some items clearanced 90% off

There are some great deals on Essence of Beauty items at CVS. Many are marked down from 75-90% off right now.

The robes are normally $14.99, so they are only $1.50 to $3.75. The colors I have found are clearanced are the off-white, pink & red. These are not quite as thick or soft as the ones they had last year but they still seem pretty decent for what you are spending! :~)

I also got 3 of the two packs of the Essence of Beauty candles for $1.29 today. One is a larger candle and one is smaller. These are the 3-in-1's that you can also use as massage oil or hand lotion.

candles.jpg picture by klingerfamily

Keep an eye out for the small plastic "bags" of sample size items too - they are normally $4.99 and are on clearance. So they will be $0.50 to $1.25.

There may be some other items but this is all I have found so far.
