CVS - Week of 6/7

There are only a few decent deals at CVS this week, but still worth mentioning. The best deal has to be done tomorrow because the coupons expire tomorrow. Plus, it will only really work if you have a $/$$ coupon that many people got in their email.

Here is a freebie/MM for everyone --
Bayer Contour diabetes monitor is $19.99. Use the "Up to $30" coupon (various inserts) to make the monitor free and you will get a $5 ECB, limit 1 per card. So basically, free $5 ECB.

Legitimacy of the Target SoftSoap deal

Okay, I've spent all evening researching this deal, trying to figure out if the SoftSoap manufacturer PDF (6 per page) is legit. After reading 50+ pages on SD, this is what I've found (copied from SD):

The SoftSoap manufacturer coupon that is a 6 per page PDF wasn't supposed to have been for public eyes. (Just because it's indexed by Google doesn't mean it was supposed to be for everyone to see - that PDF was actually from an FTP server that required a username and password to log into, which someone figured out. The link including the username/password then leaked out onto public forums, which caused the PDF file to get indexed by Google. Granted, it wasn't a very smart username/password combo...but it was still pretty clear that that FTP server was supposed to be for editors, professional printers, etc. - not the general public. It was how the magazine staff was sharing files around - not an actual "digital version" of the magazine meant for anyone to read.

The original thread on SD that linked to that $2 Q (along with many other Qs in the same magazine) was deleted due to this reason.

If even SD says a Q isn't legit, then I think it shouldn't be linked/discussed here.

You can get your own (one per computer) $2 SoftSoap Q from here: http://www.colgate.com/app/Softsoap/US/EN/Liquid-Hand-Soap/Ensembles.cvsp (skip the intro, scroll down and click "Save $2 Now")

And a $1 SoftSoap Q here: http://www.redplum.com/pages/ViewOffer.aspx?ec=send_offer&id=1011411

If you use those 2 Qs together with the Target $2Q, it's not a moneymaker, but it is FREE!

50% off any item at Michael's

Thanks to BBC Jane --

Here's a post on SD with a printable coupon for 50% off any item at Michael's - expires on 6/15.

Superfresh until 6/4

All compiled by Fannie ---

Superfresh has another bonus buck week and it looks pretty good! :D

I don't have the shelf price of the items yet but I read on HCW that most stuff on the huggies BB will be based off of shelf price.

I did the yogurt deal and the Danimals are based off of shelf price.

These are the two types of transaction you can do...

$2.00 Danimal Drinakable (reg $3.49)
x 4
=$8 (shelf price $13.96)
-4 ($1/1 x 4)
=$4 and get $3 Bonus Buck

or

$2.00 Danaimal Crush Cup (reg $2.99)
$2.00 Danaimal Crush Cup (reg $2.99)
$2.00 Danaimal Crush Cup (reg $2.99)
$2.00 Danimal Drinakable (reg $3.49)
=$8 (shelf price $12.46)
-4 ($1/1 x 4)
=$4 and get $3 Bonus Buck

If you don't have the $1/1 from 03-01-09 SS there are $.55/1 DND blinkes in front of the yogurts! :D Still a decent deal.

The land o lakes spreadable butter tubs will be a great deal if you have the $.55/1 tearpad found at various supermarkets. I found mine at Safeway.

I don't know what the shelf price of the butter is... So I'm going to base this off of regular price so you can see it's a MM. If it's based off of shelf price then it's a bigger MM. I just have to figure out what the shelf price is and if it works.

$1.50 sale price Land o Lakes Tubs
x 10
=$15
-11 ($.55/1 doubled to $1.10 x 10)
=$4 OOP and get $5 Bonus Buck

Huggies Deal...
Someone on HCW did the huggies deal using 4 huggies bath product and 4 huggies wipes and ended up paying $6 ($33.12 shelf) and got back a $5 bonus buck... So that is a great deal! I just dont know what the individual shelf prices are...

$8 bath product -- ($2x 4)
$8 wipes product -- ($2x 4)
=$16 ($33.12 shelf)
-4 ($1/1 bath x 4)
-6 ($.75/1 wipes double x 4)
=$6 OOP and get $5 Bonus Buck

Lean Cuisine and Deer Park water is a good deal also... But I have no idea on shelf price to see if this will work off of it... I have a few Deer Park $1/1 sparkling q's for freebies so I might just do it based off of sale price so i dont chance it and loose my $7 bonus buck.

HCW is reporting the Dove Bonus Buck has issues working off of shelf price. So there maybe some that are not programmed in. Beware when doing this based off of shelf price. :D

This Week

This is a slow week for CVS - I don't see anything decent worth doing. If you have any ECB's expiring then you definitely want to look at the ad for something but nothing free/stellar that I can see.

Walgreens - if you have the Contour/Breeze II "Up to $30" coupon (has been in multiple inserts), this is the week to use them IF you can find the product....it may be hard. Right now the monitors are on sale for $10 and you get a $10 Register Reward back. Use the coupon for a free monitor and FREE $10 Register Reward to use on future purchases.

There is also a Revlon hair dryer (hot pink) that is on megasaver there for $12.99. It also earns a $10 Register Reward.

You could do this:
Buy a Contour/Breeze monitor for $10 - $10 coupon = FREE and get a $10 reward back
Buy a Revlon hair dryer for $12.99 - $10 reward above = $2.99 + tax and get $10 reward

There will be other deals you can roll the $10 RR from the monitor/hair dryer into. If you want help with that please let me know. I don't normally post Wags deals because they can be complicated if you aren't used to their system.

Otherwise, the deals are at Superfresh this week. I'll post those in a minute.

Chinet Deal at Food Lion

Found it on HCW. Food Lion has the 36 count Chinet plates (lunch or casuals) on sale for $2. Use the $2 MFR coupon from the 5/3 inserts for free plates.

Reportedly, this deal is good until July 7th - plenty of time to stock up on coupons!

This was a brand new cardboard display at the front of the store. With the display were boxes of 4 mini bags in the flavors which I mentioned above.

Price on the corn here is $3.39 and B1G1.

Orville Popcorn (till 5/27)

You could use two $0.40 coupons but your total would go negative and you would likely get blocked.

Addition to the deal if you can find these tearpads:

"Another thing that makes this entirely awesome are the coupons for $1.50 off soda wyb 2 boxes of Orville Reddenbacher.

That coupon beeps whether you buy a 2 ltr (which is what is shown on the coupon) or any other type of soda. A couple of times I have used this coupon when also buying Hallmark cards and the mini cans of coke.

So far, no matter what kind of coke I bought with that coupon, it made it a money maker. The 2 ltr sodas are only $1.25 right now, and of course the mini cans of coke are free wyb 3 Hallmark cards."

Scenarios for CVS this week

If you haven't already hit CVS for the week, here is some help on a few scenarios. You can start with a mere $4 ECB's and get all of the below for less than $3 OOP AND gain in ECB's!!

First Transaction:
(2) Neutrogena trial size sunscreens $1.99 X 2 = $3.98
(1) Small filler
------------------------------
Use $4 ECB and pay just the amount of the filler
Earn $10 ECB back

Second Transaction:
(2) Speedstick Deodorant $3.99 X 2 = $7.98
(1) Tampax Tampons $3.99
------------------------------
-$1 Tampax coupon (check boxes if don't have filler - some have peelies. Or use IP)
Use $10 ECB
Total $0.97
Earn $7.98 ECB and $3 ECB back

Third Transaction:
(1) Revlon nail polish $3.99
(1) Colgate Toothpaste $2.99
(1) Clearasil Face Wash $3.99
------------------------------
-$2 Clearasil coupon
Use $7.98 ECB
Total $0.99
Earn $3.99 ECB and $2 ECB back

At the end you will have a $3, (2) $3.99 and $2 ECB. So for $1.96 (plus the cost of the small filler in the 1st transaction) + tax you will end up with all of the above products and gain an additional $8.98 in ECB's.

Awesome hidden deal at CVS - BIG moneymaker!

This week there is a buy 2 get $10 ECB Neutrogena deal. Well, it is confirmed to be working on the trial size sunscreens. I did it earlier today and it worked. So sweet! Here are the details from HCW:

Buy two at $1.99 each, get back $10 ECB, money maker of $6.02

Look for a clear plastic cylinder shaped display. I found it up front on a shelf in the Beauty Section. The tube itself is whitish, with Neutrogena 55 on the front.

Rite Aid 5/24 - 5/30

Some decent items this upcoming week. For those new to RA deals, the way to work RA deals is to use the $5/25 Rite Aid coupon along with a One Touch diabetes monitor and the "Up to $20" coupon for this item (5/3 SS). This coupon expires on 5/31 so if you have any left, make sure you use them this week.

Here are some of the items that I will consider this week:

Bounty 8-roll pack $6.99 - $1 (5/3 PG)

Tampax Tampons 40ct $5.99 - $0.50 (5/3 PG)
Always Pads or Liners $5.99

Sunsilk S/C/S 2 for $6 - $1 (5/17 RP) - would need to add another $1 item to make these free

Garnier 100% Color Vibrant Colors $4.99 - $2 (5/3 RP) and add an item that is around $2 after Q to make it free.

Olay or Dove body wash $4.99 (no additional Q but free - which is great for these body washes)

Cottonelle 4-roll doubles or Moist Wipes $2.49 each, no Q's but you could basically get (2) 4-packs of TP for free, just add a filler

Little Swimmers swim diapers $6.99 - manufacturer Q (could have $1, $1.50, $2 or $3 from 5/17SS). If you have the $3 Q, would need to add $1.01 in fillers for $0 OOP.

Charmin 9-roll pack, Downy or Bounce $5.49

Glad trash bags $5.99

All of these items are $1 or less when combined with the monitor, $5/25 and MFC's. Just make sure you don't go negative if the item minus the manufacturer coupon is less than $5. Add a pack of gum or super small filler if needed.

Giant Food

From a BBC girl --

Here's a q for $3/15 meat purchase at Giant. Giant has some steak on sale 50% off this week. So if you bought $15 worth of steak, scan the q first then your card it would cost you $4.50 for $15 worth of steak.

SuperFresh Doubles & Bonus Bucks

Ok...... great promos going on at SuperFresh starting tomorrow through next Thursday. This is all from my awesome friend Fannie (www.couponingcraze.blogspot.com).

They have double coupons right now plus Bonus Bucks when you buy a certain amount of qualifying items. Fannie broke it down for the good deals as well as which Bonus Bucks category it fits in. The Bonus Bucks are a catalina towards your next purchase.

OK, here is Fannie's info:

Buy $40 get $10

• Kraft BBQ Sauce, Any 18 Oz. + Bottle - 05-03-09 SS $0.75/1
This will be a moneymaker... the kraft bbq regular price is $2.09 and the $.75/1 will double to $1.50. They are on sale this week for $.79... meaning $.71 overage!!!

• Jell-O Refrigerated Gelatin Or Pudding Snacks, Any - 05-03-09 SS $0.55/1
• A.1. Steak Sauce or marinade - 05-10-09 SS $2.00/1

• Kraft Mac & Cheese B1G1 from parade
These are on sale for $1 each. Nice filler items to reach your $40 total.
• Pamphlet Coupon $1.25 off of 3 select products to include the Jello gelatin or pudding!
I found this pamphlet at Safeway during Easter. There might still be some left in the holiday section at safeway. Not sure. It was on a Jell-O stand alone display case.

Buy $15 get $5 Unilever

• Shedd's Spread Country Crock Spreads, Any - 04-05-09 Unilever $0.45/1
These are on sale for 4 for $5. If you buy 12 to reach your $15 goal, your oop would be $4.20 but you get a $5 catalina back. :D so free! Butter/margarine freezes well! :D

Buy $15 get $5 Reckitt

These are on sale for $4.99 each, so $.99 after mft coupon. If you buy 3 and a small filler within this category, everything should be free after bonus buck! :D

• Lysol All Purpose Cleaner Trigger or Plus Bleach, Any - 04-26-09 SS $.75/1
Lysol All Purpose Cleaner Pourable, Any - 04-26-09 SS $.75/1
Lysol Bathroom Cleaner or Mildew Remover, Any - 04-26-09 SS $.75/1
The above three items are on sale for $2.50 each. After mft coupon they are $1. If you buy 6 you will pay $6 oop and get a $5 bonus buck back! :D so $1 for 6 cleaners!

• Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Any - 04-26-09 SS $.75/1
This cleaner is on sale for $2 each and after coupon it will be $.50. If you buy 8, your oop will be $4 and you will get a $5 bonus buck back! :D

So overall very very exciting! Word of advice... if there is anything above that you really need, I would go first thing tomorrow when the store opens! The shelves will be wiped out by the time you get off work or wait till the weekend. The coupon shoppers at Superfresh are not very "sharing" when it comes to deals like this. It's frustrating but this is a known fact about Superfresh. LOL...

Copying this from Melziemom's Bargains - she has some great scenarios worked out for this week.

The following are scenarios for people who are "new" to shopping at CVS or who have very few ECBs to start with: (these are just ideas....you do not have to follow this exact order and you can skip some items if you do not need them or don't have the coupons that match up with them)

Spend $0, earn $26 ECB

Happy Mother's Day!!

Rite Aid week of 5/3

The One Touch diabetes monitors are on sale for $19.99 this week. If you have the $20 off One Touch coupons (some got it this week, others got $10..... but you can order the $20's super cheap on Ebay), this could pair well with the $5/25.

A few items of note from this weeks ad that might work well with the $5/25 and One Touch (may or may not need small fillers if the MFC puts it below the $5):

L'Oreal EverPure S/C/T $6.99
-$2 MFC 3/22 SS

Aveeno S/C $6.49
(Some IP's available, but not sure 100% they work on haircare)

John Freida hair care $4.99 and eligible for $2 SCR (limit 1)
-$2 MFC 4/5 SS

Gilette Men's Shampoo or Stylers 2 for $8
-$4 (B1 shampoo G1 styler free - 5/3 PG)

Always Infinity $8.99
-$4 MFC 4/5
-$2 SCR (limit 1)
Combined with the $5/25 this is a $1.01 MM

Haagan Dazs ice cream 2 for $5

Dawn dishwashing liquid, Joy dishwashing liquid, Puffs facial tissues, Bounty Basic paper towels are all $0.99 each
-Bounty MFC $0.25 on any 5/3 PG

Time to order coupons!

OK, lately I rarely get a chance to look too far in advance but I heard there was an upcoming deal at CVS and I just checked out the info on SD. If you want to get ahead at CVS and earn some free ECB's, you will want to order some coupons now in preparation.

Next week the Bayer Contour diabetes monitors will be $14.99 and earning a $5 ECB, limit 2 per card. If you use the "Up to $30" coupon, you will get the monitor for free and earn $5 ECB's.

$5 ECB WYB Bayer/Ascensia Contour $14.99 Limit 2
Bayer Breeze2 or Contour Meter, up to $30.00 off (9/30/09) SS 3/22/09
Breeze 2 or Contour Meter $30 (7-31-09) V 10/26/08
Breeze2 or Contour Meter from Bayer up to $30 off (11-30-09) V 2/1/09

Personally, I would order a minimum of 5-10 of the coupons that expire in November - these can also be used right now for free catalinas at Wags (PM me if you want more info) and also come in handy for Rite Aid deals. Make sure when you buy you check the expiration dates. If you get the ones in July, you should still have time to use them. But of course the ones that expire in November are better. Sometimes you will pay a little more to get them to expire later - if this is the case, buy a few less and get the ones that expire in July.

I normally buy these on Ebay but you can also get them on Couponclippers.com or couponsthingsbydede.com.

Here are a few other deals I see for the week of May 11th at CVS if you want to go ahead and plan for all of it:

Spend $10 get $5 ECB when you buy any Colgate toothbrushes Limit 1
Prices starting at $1.99
Colgate Max White or any Adult Manual or Powered Toothbrush $1 (5/16/09) SS 4/26/09
If you have 5 of the coupons, this could end up being cheap or free toothbrushes. Free toothbrush deals don't come around often, so I will be stocking up on these.

$4 ECB WYB Schick Quattro for Qomen razor with 2 catridges or trimmer $8.99 Limit 5
Schick Disposable Razor - Quattro, Xtreme3, Slim Twin, ST2 - B1G1F to $12.99 (5/17/09) SS #2 4/5/09
Not sure how this one will pan out but it could work out to be $0.99 for 2 razors..... not bad.

$2 ECB WYB Bayer Quick release crystals $2 Limit 1 FREE - offer # 12031652
$1 any Bayer Aspririn or Heart Health Advantage product tearpad @ CVS front register - includes quick release crystals (6/30/10)
$1 any Bayer Aspririn quick release crystals @ Walgreens end cap display near pharmacy(6/30/10)
I haven't been able to find any of the tearpads, but keep your eyes out for them. Regardless, it is a free.

Purex laundry detergent is Buy One, Get One Free this week. There is a B1G1 coupon on www.coupons.com (use zip code 44513 to ensure you get this coupon). Grab 2 detergents and use 1 coupon and get both free! You should be able to print this coupon out from www.coupons.com twice.

CVS Beauty Coupon

Save $4 on any $20 Beauty purchase. Not exactly clear on what is considered beauty but I would probably try it with the current Softsoap and Colgate deals. I think a clean mouth and body make a person beautiful....right??

Valid through 4/19/09

http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/images/promotions/landingpages/frontstore/fs09035_spring_beauty/dc41003-coupon.html?WT.mc_id=EM_BDS_041609_Beauty_Days_Sale_V1#

CVS - Free/MM on Stayfree Pads

There are several packages of 18 ct Stayfree pads marked at $1.60, and they give $2 ECB's back!! The limit is 5. The ultra thin and regular ones are being reported as working.

CVS Scenario for this week

Here is a suggested scenario for this week. This is assuming you have the needed amount of ECB's. If you do not, you would want to split them up into multiple transactions. Send me a message if you want a personalized scenario.

(2) Colgate Enamel Protect toothpaste $3.99 X 2 = $7.98
(1) Softsoap scrub body wash (18oz) $4.99
(2) Airwick Freshmatic minis $4.99 X 2 = $9.98
Subtotal: $22.95
-$1 x (2) Colgate toothpaste (3/29SS) or printable here
-$1 x (1) Softsoap body wash (3/29SS)
-$4 x (2) Airwick printable (see last post for links)
Total coupons: $11
Total: $11.95 - use as many ECB's as you can to bring this down for a low OOP

Will earn: $3.99 X 2 for Colgate and $4.99 for Softsoap --- total ECB's earned: $12.97

CVS week of 4/12

Airwick Freshmatic Mini Qs

These are on sale at CVS this week for $4.99. Here are two links for a $4.00/1 IP.

LINK and LINK

You should be able to print two from each site. These sell really well, and I would combine them with the MM's on the Adidas deodorant, Colgate toothpaste or Softsoap scrub this week to absorb the $0.99 cost.

CVS - Small moneymaker on monthly deal

Adidas Deodorant

In the monthly book there is a deal on Adidas deodorant. Buy 1 and get 2 ECB's (limit 3). The regular price is $4.99 but the INTENSIVE fragrance is on 50% clearance right now for $2.50. In the 4/5 RP there is a $1/1 coupon. So, $2.50 - $1 = $1.50 spent and earn 2 ECB's.

Some stores have not marked this deodorant at 50% off but scan it or ask a clerk - it should all be priced at $2.50.

CVS COUPON MATCH UPS FOR THE WEEK OF 4/12

Rite Aid 4/12-4/18

This is a pretty good week at Rite Aid. The Contour diabetes monitors will be priced at $29.99 through 4/25. There are "Up to $30" Contour coupons available in several inserts (2/1RP, 3/1RP, 3/22SS), that can be used on this item. If you combine it with the current $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon, you will basically get $5 in free items.

(The purpose of buying the Contour is to get your total up above the $25 needed for the $5 Rite Aid coupon , but the item is free after the coupon.)

Here are several items that would be good to combine with the Contour (& coupon) and the $5/25 RA coupon:

Pantene S/C/S $3.99ea - Buy (2) and use $3/2 (4/5RP), will need small filler because w/ Q's = -$0.02.

Speed Stick 24/7 (mens & womens) are $2.99. $1/1 Q (3/29SS). Would need $1.02 in fillers to make this free. This item qualifies for the SpaBucks Rewards (Buy $10 get $50 SpaBucks, Buy $20 get $125 SpaBucks).Gillette 3X anti-perspirant or body wash $2/6, use $1/2 (4/5 PG) = FREE

St. Ives Body Wash or Scrub $2/7 - (2) $1/1 Body Wash Q (3/22SS) or $1/1 Scrub Q (3/8SS) = FREE

Gillette 3X anti-perspirant or body wash $2/6, use $1/2 (4/5 PG) = FREE

Bounty 8-roll paper towels $7.99 - $1 (4/5PG) = $1.99

Glad trash bags $5.99 -- no coupon but $0.99 for trash bags is worth it IMO.

Downy $3.99 - $0.25 (4/5PG) -- add in Huggies wipes (see below) and the total would be $0.23.

Children's Claritin $9.99 - $3 Q (BzzAgent). With $5/25 total is $1.99 and there is a $2 SCR, so $0.01 MM.

Similasan $7.99 - $2 Q (3/22SS) = $0.99

Cottonelle Flushable moist wipes refill (140ct) $6.49 - $1 Q (3/29SS) = $0.49

Airwick LuminAir flameless candle - possible GDA - on sale for 50% off regular retail.

If you take Zyrtec, there is a decent price, not great:
-12/14ct is $12.99 - $2.50 (3/15RP) - $5/25 = $5.49
-30ct is $18.99 - $4.50 (3/15RP) - $5/25 = $9.99*
(30ct is better deal for the money)

Two good filler items if needed:
-Softsoap handsoap $0.99 - $0.35 (3/29SS)
-Huggies baby wipes (40ct) $1.49**
**this item eligible for $1 SCR, limit 1

Here are examplex of how this breaks down for several of the items above:

Contour $29.99
St. Ives body wash $3.50
St. Ives body wash $3.50
Subtotal $36.99
-$29.99 Contour Q
-$5/25 Rite Aid Q
-$1 St. Ives Q
-$1 St. Ives Q
Coupon total $36.99
OOP Total: $0 (+tax where applicable)

OR

Contour $29.99
Speed Stick 24/7 $2.99
Speed Stick 24/7 $2.99
Huggies baby wipes $1.49
Subtotal $37.46
-$29.99 Contour Q
-$5/25 Rite Aid Q
-$1 Speed Stick Q
-$1 Speed Stick Q
Coupon total $36.99
OOP Total: $0.47 (+tax where applicable)
And you would get back $1 through the SCR (Single Check Rebate) program at RA.

Safeway - thanks Fannie!

Ronzoni Bistro is on sale at safeway B1G1... not sure when it ends... but there is a B1G1 coupon from 2/8ss.

Using the b1g1 free coupon would get you both products for free!

Vitamin water will be free this week also with the $1/1 coupon that came out last week.

Rite Aid

I should have posted this earlier in the week - but it is still a great deal through Saturday.

The Contour diabetes monitors are on sale for $29.99 right now. If you have the "Up to $30 off Contour monitor" coupon that was in the 3/1 RP or 3/22 SS inserts, you can use that to get your total up above the threshold for the $5/25 Rite Aid Coupon and basically get $5 worth of free stuff. Here are a few deals that I am doing

Scenario #1

Contour meter $30
Viva 8pk paper towels $7.49
-$30 Contour Q
-$5/25
Total OOP $2.49

Scenario #2

2 John Freidas= $10
Total= $40
-1 Contour Q = $30
-2 $2 JF Qs = $4
-5/$25
Total OOP $1 + tax, then repeat this transaction a second time. If you buy $20 worth of John Freida products you will get a $10 SCR (Rite Aid Rebate). You would just have to enter your receipt info on the Rite Aid website. PM me if you need help or more details.

I love the RA $5/25 coupons - it's a great way to stock up on items that are not often on sale that you need/use. I am using it this week to stock up on paper towels and laundry detergent!

This is a great coupon for New York & Company for tomorrow through Sunday. I got this in a home mailer, but it is available online to print as well.
